Science Workshops at the Royal Institution August 2026
On Thursday, 20th August and Friday 21st August I shall be introducting science with the Dinky Amigos at the Royal Institution in London.
An Introduction to Evolution looks at how humans took so long to arrive on the planet and how it all happened. We look at what makes a human, how we know what went before and extract DNA instructions. Find out more and book here.
The Great Malteser Heist is a forensics invetigation into who ate the chocolates before any of us had the chance to! We look at a number of clues, including fingerprints and note and then investigate what DNA can tell us before creating a profile that will hopefully lead us to our suspect. Come and find me, this Sunday, 5th July at the Tadpole Garden Village Market, SN25 2RA for some mystery sleuthing and fossil making.
Discover the Science Detective Mysteries—an exciting series of books for children aged 3–7 who love adventures, asking questions and solving mysteries. Browse the books, chat with the author, and pick up a signed copy for your young detective. Whether your child already enjoys reading or you’re looking for a fun way to spark their curiosity, I’d love to welcome you to my stall. I hope to see you there!
